ORAL EXAME 2ND PARTIAL

BOOK FAIR REPORT

Today I went to the Internationally book fair in CINTERMEX (Monterrey) in Fundidora Park. This meeting is an annual meeting where a hundred of stands shows his books and also have a specific threat to demonstrate to the people who assist to the book fair. Like an activity of the business communication class, we have to go to the fair book and watch the stands that was attractive to us and take a picture of myself in the stand that I like most.

There was a lot of stands and publishing brands that sell his books to the people who want to buy some title or author.

When I was inside the fair, I look around the stands, but anyone called my attention. Around 15 minutes later I heard a song that went from the stand behind me. It was a couple of Cameroonians playing some music with strange instruments made by wood and leather. The stand sold books of languages and also offer classes of English, French, Spanish, Italian and other languages, but the music was for me the most attractive thing of the stand. Really it was a relaxing music and makes me happy.

There were more stands like one with a lot of small books. The stand called “Los libros mas pequeños” or something like that. Prices were low in all types of books and they have a lot of variety.

To conclude, I don’t like to read so much, but was a good experience going to the book fair.

The aunt's house

The last month was a horrible time because I went to my aunt's house and I was so scared, but let's start from the beginning. I'm Manuel Alonso Nepomuceno Diaz de la Morad Rodriguez (Yes, a very long name and also so disgusting) but you can call me Manny; the story beings when I went to my aunt's house and saw a little "Barbies"  but older than my aunt maybe. The point is that day made me a different person. My aunt and all my family are Mexican and the traditions and costumes are very important in this house, that's why she has "barbies" or kind of. 

That day, I was on the bedroom watching TV, when my aunt told me that she had to go to the doctor and I stayed alone. Well, nothing important to me. A half an hour passed when a strange sound came from the kitchen; it doesn't matter to me. Fifteen minutes later, the same sound came from the kitchen and I get up to look around the house; I went to the living room, bathroom, the others bedrooms, but when I saw around the kitchen I saw something really horrible: a little "Barbie" with the name of my cousin that died three years ago. 

The toy was talking or trying to talk. I ran so fast even more than Usain Bolt, to arrive at my house. The next month was so hard for me, because I became a toy...

Health week conference

Today we went to the health week of the ITESM Monterrey in Pabellon La Carreta.
The conference was about the Marihuana and his affections to our body in general. The speaker spoke about a lot of consequences that the Marihuana has, and the situation of everybody as a society.
The speaker was a woman that belongs to CIJ (Centros de Integracion Juvenil in Spanish) that is a civil association in pro of the teenagers with bad experiences about the drugs.
Its an association non-profit and property of the government.
His objectives as an association are:  to contribute to reducing drug demand with community participation through prevention and treatment programs, with gender equity, evidence-based to improve the quality of life of the population.
She spoke that most Marihuana users enjoy their ability to induce a feeling of euphoria and pleasure, but unfortunately this is not exempt from side effects.
In fact, research shows that marijuana use can cause a variety of short-and long-term effects.
The immediate effects of marijuana use include rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), disorientation, lack of physical coordination, often followed by depression or drowsiness. Some users may experience panic attacks or anxiety.
